The auxiliary fort, which is approximately 3.7 ha large, lies below the medieval city centre. There are several well preserved, high raising monuments, such as the fortĀ“s east gate, a U-shaped tower on the northern curtain wall and a Late Roman fortlet still recognizable in the groundplan of the Traismauer Castle. The main street grid in the center oft he town still follows the outline of the Roman fort. More Information
