Fethard Castle is a ruined castle located in the small village of Fethard-on-Sea, on the eastern coast of County Wexford, Ireland. The castle was built in the 15th century by the Roche family, who were one of the most powerful Norman families in the region.

The castle is rectangular in shape and was originally four stories tall, with a large tower at each corner. The walls are constructed from local red sandstone and are up to 1.5 meters thick. The castle also features a moat, which was fed by the nearby Atlantic Ocean.

Despite its impressive size and strength, Fethard Castle was attacked and captured several times throughout its history. In 1649, during the Cromwellian Conquest of Ireland, the castle was attacked and partially destroyed by Parliamentary forces. After this attack, the castle was abandoned and left to fall into disrepair.
